Bill Smith, “Billy Rock”, has been a Franchise Owner since 2009. His territory includes South Georgia, Northern Florida, as well as Beaufort and Hilton Head. He is a retired educator and business owner. Bill holds a MS from Clemson and has over fifteen years of college marketing and management teaching and training experience. He focuses on customer satisfaction by working with elementary and middle school students, teachers and administrators to insure successful, hands-on program delivery. His goal for each program is to have at least one student state that the Gem Mining Adventure is the best school experience ever! Additionally, he works with scout leaders in the awarding of Geology Badges to scouts. He resides in Beaufort, SC with his wife who is an elementary teacher.
